The Gist
You’ve all arrived to class with three objects which “evokes” your Topic / Thesis Statement. You must now choose one of these objects to package, in a way which explores, relates to, explains, engages... your Topic. The packaged object doesn't necessarily need to be marketable, but it should be more than just an object.
Parameters
- Packaging of some kind must encase the chosen object, thus making it a “product.”
Process
Students were encouraged to think about the object they chose as a stage to make one sharp comment about their topic in order to emotionally connect with whoever might interact with the object. With that line of thinking, gum became juicy gossip, a ream of paper became a series of delicious past-times, a blank CD became a depository for the future.
Results
